Programs & Activities

Free, meaningful programs open to everyone — no experience or membership required.

All Programs Are Free

Every program we offer — from personal Bible study to congregation meetings to community outreach — is provided entirely free of charge. We never take collections or charge fees. Our materials, time, and teaching are a gift to anyone who is interested.

One-on-one Bible study session at home

Free Home Bible Study

Our most popular program — a free, personalized Bible study conducted at a time and location that suits you. A trained member of our congregation will meet with you regularly (usually once per week) to explore the Bible's answers to questions like:

  • Is the Bible really from God?
  • What happens when we die?
  • Why does God allow suffering?
  • How can I have a happy family life?
  • What is God's purpose for the earth?

We use easy-to-understand study guides designed to be engaging and practical. There is no pressure, no obligation, and no fee. Simply contact us to request a study.

Congregation Meetings

We hold two weekly meetings at our Kingdom Hall — both open to the public. These meetings are educational, uplifting, and entirely free. You will never be asked for money or personal information.

Weekend Meeting (Sunday)

A 30-minute public Bible discourse on a relevant life topic, followed by a 60-minute congregation discussion of an article from our Watchtower study magazine. Family-friendly and engaging for all ages.

Midweek Meeting

An interactive midweek gathering covering Bible reading, practical life skills, and ministry training. Features student talks, demonstrations, and discussions that make Biblical principles come alive for everyday situations.

Families

Family Worship Night

We encourage families to hold a regular Family Worship Night at home — a dedicated time each week for parents and children to study the Bible, discuss life's questions, and grow closer as a family. We provide materials and guidance to help families establish this tradition.

Public Ministry

One of the most distinctive activities of Jehovah's Witnesses is their door-to-door and public ministry — sharing the Bible's message of hope with their neighbours in a respectful, personal way.

Our members visit homes and public areas in Corner Brook and western Newfoundland to offer free Bible literature and conversations about topics like family life, health, and the future. These visits are always brief, respectful, and welcome-based — we never push where we are not wanted.

  • Door-to-door Bible literature distribution
  • Public witnessing stands in community areas
  • Phone and letter-writing outreach
  • Return visits and ongoing Bible discussions
